Join us for worship this Holy Week:
Palm Sunday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. - We celebrate Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem with worship at 11:00 a.m. Maundy Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. - We commemorate the Last Supper in a service of Holy Communion with the stripping of the altar. Good Friday, April 18 at noon - We pray the Stations of the Cross in the Glen. At 7:00 p.m. we have a Tenebrae (Darkness) Service in the sanctuary. Easter Sunday, April 20 at 7:00 a.m. - We gather for a Sunrise Service in our Memorial Garden with breakfast to follow in the fellowship hall. At 11:00 a.m. we celebrate with worship and Holy Communion in the sanctuary. All services except the Easter Sunrise will be live streamed on the St. Andrew's YouTube channel.

Advent Lessons & Carols – Sunday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary - This lovely service tells the story of preparation for Christ’s birth in scripture and song. Advent Mid-week Services – Wednesday, December 18 at 5:30 p.m. in Aderholdt Chapel - A Holden Evening Prayer provides a holy pause in the midst of the week’s busy-ness. Blessing of the Longest Night – Saturday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 3730 N Center St, Hickory) - This service is especially designed for those who carry grief through this season. Christmas Eve – Musical prelude begins at 10:30 p.m. and a service with Holy Communion follows at 11:00 p.m. St. Andrew's celebrates its 130th anniversary on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Join us for worship at 11:00 a.m. during which time child of the church, Allen Caldwell, will offer a reflection on God's blessings in this congregation. A celebratory fellowship potluck meal will follow worship. The lunch will include games and fun. All are welcome!
Advent Mid-Week Services - Holy Disruption
During Advent, join us on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in Aderholt Chapel for mid-week services. All are welcome. These services will not be streamed via YouTube. Please note, there will be no service on Wednesday, December 21. Dinner will follow each service. God's Work. Our Hands. Sunday is September 12. Is your committee planning a project this year? If so, please share this with the church office. There's still time to apply for Thrivent Action Grants to support these efforts.
A Maundy Thursday service, with the stripping of the altar, will be streamed live via Facebook at 7:30 p.m.
Stations of the Cross will be offered at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 2 (outside) on the campus at Lenoir-Rhyne in front of Grace Chapel.
A prerecorded Tenebrae service will be shared on Facebook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 2. Worship will be held in the sanctuary at limited capacity and streamed live via Facebook at 11:00 a.m. It will also be broadcast on WLRZ 99.3 FM at 1:00 p.m. Please note, those choosing to attend in-person must still follow best practices for COVID safety, such as social distancing and wearing a mask.
